Knockoff Ninja #52 - Giuseppe Zanotti Star Sandal

Giuseppe Zanotti "Star Sandal" in Black Suede available at Bluefly ($899.99), Neiman Marcus ($2,495.00), Saks Fifth Avenue ($2,495.00), Bergdorf Goodman ($2,495.00), Forzieri ($2,495.00), Luisa Via Roma ($2,569.44)

Liliana "Afragola-25" in Black Suede available at Make Me Chic ($42.90), UrbanOG ($44.20), Go Jane ($57.90)

I adore these! Can you say no to these at a tiny fraction of GZ's cost? I don't think so! Not to mention Liliana's version is bound to be WAY more comfy what with the decent-sized platform (and I know from experience the brand cranks out great quality shoes).

Happy shoe shopping!

Knockoff Ninja #51 - London Trash "Ceres"

London Trash "Ceres" in Pink Pony available at Runway Shoetique ($74.99), Heels ($139.99), Bakers ($142.99)

Qupid "Ravish-08" in Raspberry available at Make Me Chic ($33.10), Go Jane ($34.80)

These are okay. I'm not terribly excited about them, but the knockoff well is a bit dry right now. The heel isn't as high, nor the platform, and the color is off. What bugged me in the first place about the Ceres was the lack of a concealed platform in such a pricey shoe, which is also the case with the Ravish-08 (minus the price). Hmmmm.

What do you think? Grab it, or skip it?

Knockoff Ninja #50 - Privileged "Denmark"

Now, this Knockoff Ninja is weird, because I have no idea which one of these came first, and this has happened before with Privileged's "Drama" and Steve Madden's "Dubstep". I saw a preview of the black pair on Privileged's Instagram and immediately after, a picture of the green ones on Steve Madden's IG. So it's not a "Knockoff Ninja" per se, but a post giving you a ton of options! Enjoy!

Privileged "Denmark" in Teal available at Shiekh Shoes ($97.99), Make Me Chic ($98.00), Zooshoo ($98.00), Dr. Jay's ($98.00), UrbanOG ($98.00), Go Jane ($98.80), Shopakira ($98.90), Heels ($99.99)

Steve Madden "Shana" in Green Multi available at Steve Madden ($129.95)

IDENTICAL. Anyone know what the deal is, here? Literally, the only difference is the zipper color. I feel like there's some sort of double agent designer in the shoe world right now, lol. Is Jennifer Chou moonlighting at Steve Madden? The Privileged version can't be considered a dupe because the price point is so similar. In any case, I'm having a real issue not buying these right now. RIGHT NOW. I just might. They are literally my perfect shoe; tall as f*$%, strappy, corseted and full of mermaid-y goodness. (P.S. The Denmark runs a half size small!)

Are these the best shoes you've ever seen, or are they not? If not, come here so I can slap you :P

Happy shoe shopping!

EDIT: Aaaaaannnnndddd, I bought 'em. 20% off with RED20 at Go Jane! Expect a review next week :D

Qupid "Valiant" in Black available at Tilly's ($39.99), Make Me Chic ($40.50), Go Jane ($43.20)

Also available in Oxblood at UrbanOG and Go Jane!

Looks like I spoke too soon! About a week after my first post on the creeper Coltrane dupes, THESE CAME OUT. GAH! I'm still eyeballing them, and have been for weeks. But now that I have the creeper version in black, I don't know whether I should get the Oxblood or the black! CONUNDRUM!

What do you guys think? I'm dying, here!

Sorry about the extended absence! Trying to get my bloggy butt in gear, been busy with other stuff :D

The differences between these shoes aren't even worth pointing out. These are too similar to nit-pick! Go grab 'em up!!!

Happy shoe shopping!

Knockoff Ninja #47 - Jeffrey Campbell "Coltrane"

Jeffrey Campbell "Coltrane" in Black Distressed available at Farfetch ($161.60), Jildor Shoes ($180.00), Karmaloop ($184.00), Nasty Gal ($185.00), Nordstrom ($199.95)

Wild Diva Lounge "Credence-11" in Black available at Make Me Chic ($32.90), UrbanOG ($33.20), Go Jane ($35.10)

I'm going to be totally honest here, I ordered these the same day I came across them. I've been waiting SO LONG for a quality, affordable Coltrane/Balenciaga dupe, and these are about as good as they're gonna get! I ADORE the creeper sole, probably way more than the original chunky rubber heel! I'm expecting these tomorrow, so I'll definitely append this post with a detailed review right after I get 'em :D

The Credence-11 is also available in a GORGEOUS Oxblood! GO GET SOME!

EDIT 7-26: Got 'em! They look great in person, and appear to be great quality. Both buckles are adjustable, which is good because they felt a little loose at first, even on my slightly wide feet. True to size. Really stoked to wear them out!

Happy shoe shopping!

Knockoff Ninja #46 - Jeffrey Campbell "Succession"

Jeffrey Campbell "Succession" in Black/White exclusive to Karmaloop SOLD OUT! (retailed $215.00)

Gabina in Black/White available at Make Me Chic ($58.00), AMI Clubwear ($66.99)

Super close, almost identical. My only gripe is that the platform isn't hidden/covered! GAH! If not for that, this shoe would *almost* be an exact replica. Still, good news for people looking for the now sold out Succession who are willing to compromise a bit.

I don't actually care for these too much, but they were way too close to not do a write up! I love the Damsel base to death, but not really in the form of an athletic-esque shoe.

Do you dig 'em?

Knockoff Ninja #45 - Taylor Says "Sharkie"

Taylor Says "Sharkie" in Grey available at Heels ($199.99)

Shark Pumps in Grey available at GoJane ($34.90), UrbanOG ($35.40)

I find it SO HILARIOUS that I had this post sitting in my drafts for about a week, and all of the sudden Kat Von D posts an Instagram of her wearing these shoes (and it looks like they run a bit big!). The DUPES, though, not the Taylor Says ones! How crazy! Imagining Kat Von D buying shoes that cost less than $100 makes me feel funny inside <3

If it were up to me to choose just by the facial expression of the shark, I'd pick the dupes, too. He looks more angsty and I love it :D

These also come in mint and a light peachy pink! Snatch 'em up before KvD's rabid fans do!

Happy shoe shopping!

Knockoff Ninja #44 - Jennifer Chou "Carmelo"

Jennifer Chou "Carmelo" in Neon Pink available at Solestruck ($99.95)

Privileged "Drama" in Pink available at Make Me Chic ($90.00), Bdonnas ($90.00), UrbanOG ($90.00), Go Jane ($91.00)

Privileged's version is most definitely inspired by Jennifer Chou's "Carmelo", but a little something is lost in the liberties taken with that middle strap. I don't really care for it. But the rest of the shoe is gorgeous! I wouldn't wear these myself, but I feel like someone out there will love 'em to death :D

Happy shoe shopping!

Knockoff Ninja #43 - Jeffrey Campbell "Don't Even"

Jeffrey Campbell "Don't Even" in Black Suede available at Nasty Gal ($145), Tilted Sole ($150), Edge of Urge ($160)

Zaza-1 in Black Suede available at UrbanOG ($40.20)

All over these. The suede looks a little cheap in the photo, but I'm sure it looks a lot better in person. There are some slight differences in the straps overall, but at about a fourth of the price, can you really complain? No, sir.

What do you think? Would you prefer these, or these leatherette dupes by Qupid?

Knockoff Ninja #42 - Jeffrey Campbell "Lita" part 4!

Jeffrey Campbell "Lita" in Purple Suede available at Urban Outfitters ($160.00)

Shoe Republic LA "Silla" in Plum available at AMI Clubwear ($19.99), Sheikh Shoes ($26.99)

Super cute shape, which looks identical to Shoe Republic LA's "Step", and super unique color! The only thing left to be desired is the lack of eyelets on the latter! That can be easily remedied if you're a crafty gal, like me :D And obviously, the textile on the Lita is suede, while the dupe is velvet. But with a color match that close, does it really matter?

What do you think? Close enough? Seen any better? Leave 'em in the comments!

(And don't forget! Today is the last day to enter my Oasap giveaway!)

Knockoff Ninja #41 - UNIF "Hellraiser"

UNIF "Hellraiser" in Leopard Silver SOLD OUT! (Black available at MissKL $165.00)

Khaki Sparkling Glitter Flat Shoes With Rivet available at Udobuy (also in pink and red!) ($67.00)

Point Rivets Leopard Flat Shoes available at Romwe ($84.99 $46.67)

There's been a serious pattern in my favoring of knockoffs over originals as of late. These are no exception. I've loved the Hellraiser since its debut; I love the juxtaposition of spikes against the ultra-basic/boring loafer, especially in the brighter colors! But I just can't make myself like UNIF's choice in textile for the leopard version. The print is too small and the contrast I usually prefer in leopard prints just isn't there.

Now, these Chinese dupes are awesome! And the prices aren't too shabby considering UNIF's full price!

Whaddaya think? Love 'em, or leave 'em?

Knockoff Ninja #40 - Alexander McQueen Ankle Strap Peep Toe Velvet Wedges

Alexander McQueen Ankle Strap Peep Toe Velvet Wedges in Black SOLD OUT (retailed at $825)

Privileged "Dexter" in Black Suede available at Go Jane ($13.95), Sheikh Shoes ($49.97)

THIS BITCH <3

Actually, this is kind of an older dupe (hence the ultra low sale price at GoJane!), but the shoe gods left me dry this week :/ Still, it's super well executed! The curve of the wedge is the only real difference I can see (besides the velvet vs. faux suede), and even then, I like Privileged's version better. And hey! They also come in coral, green, blue, tan, red, and yellow!

Do you have these guys yet? What do you think?

Knockoff Ninja #39 - Jeffrey Campbell "Lita" part 3!

Jeffrey Campbell "Lita" in Leopard Pony Hair available at Fly Jane ($164.00)

Speed Limit 98 "Rosa" in Leopard available at My Hot Shoes ($18.00), UrbanOG ($32.50), Go Jane ($33.60), ZooShoo ($36.00)

These are fabulous! A super close dupe. I think I might like it better than the Shoe Republic LA knockoff! What really ties it all together for me is the wood heel. This is quite literally the best I've seen, and doesn't just smack of some hastily slapped-on shoe equivalent of wood paneling or something. The upper textile looks slightly cheap, sure, but that's to be expected. We're talking faux suede, not pony hair, here!

Also available at ZooShoo in White Leatherette, Taupe Suede, and Tan Leatherette!

Glaze "Solar-1" in Black available at Go Jane ($35.90), ZooShoo ($42.00)

Wow! Nearly perfect copies with the exception of a slight variance in the heel and ankle strap! Sold! These also come in Mint(!!!) and Camel!

Knockoff Ninja #37 - Galaxy Leggings!

Hello, first ever KN post that isn't about shoes! I've been a little obsessed with scouring eBay and Chinese street fashion sites for neat galaxy/cosmic/nebula/what-have-you leggings. It all seems to have started with a little Australian company called Black Milk, whose items I have lusted after FOREVER, but could never (EVER!) justify dropping $80 on a pair of leggings. I'm sorry, no. Let me rephrase that: oh, HELL no. My personal manifesto is that one should splurge to high heaven on shoes, but NEVER on clothing. I shop pretty much exclusively at thrift stores, Ross and Wet Seal, and that will never change. My reasoning for this is that your weight might fluctuate, but your shoe size will almost never vary.

I came across a butt-ton of fabulous leggings, and even ordered a pair from Romwe, which I was pretty impressed with considering the $25 price tag. That's about a THIRD of what Black Milk somehow gets away with charging.

These are the ones I ordered. They are much more substantial than I had expected them to be. I was fully prepared for a pair of cotton leggings that would rip out in the knee and fade like nobody's business (the "finish" looks matte in this picture to me, but maybe I'm just crazy...). But they're the same sort of stretchy polyester/spandex as those rad American Apparel-style leggings. Super bright, and super opaque!

While the majority of these items ship from China, it's totally worth it the wait, ESPECIALLY since these sellers (and Romwe and SheInside) ship for free. In my experience, items from overseas take about 2 weeks to get to me, but Romwe only took about a week. I'm not even sure how that's possible, considering stuff from UrbanOG (two states away) takes just as long! Impressive, nonetheless.

Happy shopping! I know I'm gonna scoop a ton of these up for myself!

(Full disclosure: the aim of this post is not to talk smack about any company, just to offer up alternatives for those on a budget like myself :D)
